I have been an engineer and programmer for over 25 years. I have done everything from 3D graphics, GIS, sensor systems, system integration, hardware design, to civil, geotechnical, mining, and environmental engineering. Much of my carreer has centered around research. I can assist you with a variety of patent applications in many fields.

Consulting regarding all aspects of patenting including drafting and prosecution and portfolio analysis. (see MorlockIP.com). I work for both small inventors and small business owners and also do patent analysis for law firms and large companies regarding mergers and acquisitions, evidence of use and patentability studies. I work primarily in software, and mechanical and do a lot of work with location based services. Lecture on IP at Dartmouth College and provide office hours for students.
2013-2015 Instructor for STEM projects at Kimball Union Academy, Meriden NH (highschool)
Private High School Instructor on student directed projects including robotics, programming, environmental monitoring, and mechanical design.
2008-2012 Patent Engineer/Agent with TomTom (formerly TeleAtlas), Lebanon, NH
Responsible for entire 175 US patent application docket for TomTom. Responsibilities include drafting applications, responding to office actions, and nationalization and reviewing work from internal and outside council. Harvesting inventions from engineers in the areas of software, navigation devices, GIS, location based services and database engineering, visualization, data mining. Prior art searches, landscape studies and strategic planning for intellectual property. Liaison with internal and hired patent attorneys. Prolific inventor myself.
2007-2008 Sales Engineer / Technical Account Representative with Tele Atlas, Lebanon, NH
Technical Liaison for Wireless and Internet customers. Work directly with clients to optimize the usage of Tele Atlas data in Wireless and Internet Mapping and Location Based Services applications. Clients directly supported include Google, Microsoft, TeleNav, NIM, RIM, deCarta, AT&T, Mapquest, YellowPages.com and more. Technical support for sales and marketing in the wireless and internet verticals including trade shows and technical sales trips.
1998-2007 Senior Engineer/Project Manager with Tele Atlas (formerly Geographic Data Technology, Inc.), Lebanon, NH
Design, develop and manage web based geographic information system (GIS) applications using a variety of commercial and custom software including arcIms・ and Mapguide・ Chief architect and implementer of Community Update and onlineER utilizing arcIMS, SDE・and Safe Software Spatial Direct, Oracle.
